"The taming of the shrew" & "Alice in Cyberspace", a drama review by Charline (4°3)
In Australia, the theater for the pupils is a material which is a part of their education and it is also a passion
for them.
On January 8th, 2009, I went to the theater to see " Wesley Student Theater of Melbourne ".
They are amateur actors, pupils of the Wesley school from Melbourne to Australia.
It was a musical with first party David Dunn's " The Taming of the Shrew " inspired by William shakespeare's piece" La mégère Apprivoisée" written in contemporary English.
And in second party " Alice in Cyberspace " David Dunn inspired by Alice aux Pays des Merveilles… Alice is a teenager tourmented badly in the skin and which takes refuge on Internet without
knowing that there also there are dangers.
I liked a lot because these amateur actors were fascinated pass on their pleasure to play.
They return to Toulouse in 2 years … Do not miss to go to see them playing!!
