My summer holidays in Portugal by Arthur, 5°2

I went to Portugal during my summer holidays. I went there with my cousin. We stayed there for 2 weeks. 

I went to the beach despite the very cold water (15°C), a lot of seaweed, few waves and I also went on a pedalo and I fell into the sea.



I visited Templar castle in Tomar and the fortified market town Obidos which dates from the Middle Ages and then some monasteries in Bathala and Alcobaça.
Houses are very beautiful in Portugal because they are all from different colours.
A speciality from Portugal : little cakes filled with cream called "natas".
I ate a lot of fish.
It was hot and sunny, but with a lot of cold wind.
