172010.jpg Halloween is celebrated, on the night of 31st October. Traditionnal activities of Halloween are costume parties, trick or treaking and visiting “haunted houses”.

And the most famous activity is carving jack-o-lanterns.

Halloween is native to Celtic religion.

It is now celebrated in several parts of the Western World. Commonly in Ireland where it’s an old tradition who come from Celtic culture.

The Jack-o-lanterns :

Halloween in France is usually celebrated by costumed people of all ages going to parties at friends' homes. The costumes themselves tend to be traditionally scary (mummies, ghosts, goblins, witches, and vampires) rather than the cute costumes like princesses, superheroes, and the cartoon character of the day which are popular in the USA.

It’s a Trick or Treater disguised in skeleton :

I like very much Halloween, because it has got a lot of strange and mysterious story. I like Jack-o-lanterns too. Furthermore I am happy, because Halloween is more and more popular in France but it’s not too popular than USA.
